2024 Goals Set!

I added the Sailor Moon stickers to personalize my planner (as seen above) I purchased off of Amazon. This planner is a wonderful tool that enables me to not only stay focused, have daily to do lists, and sooth my anxiety it also helps me reach my goals.

In my previous post, I reflected on the goals I had set for myself in 2023. While I didn't achieve every single one, I found immense satisfaction in the overall outcomes.

Continuing this tradition, I've outlined my goals for 2024, aiming to build on my past experiences and lessons learned. Here they are!

1) Save some money - While I am a student and money is tight, I wouldn't mind having a small savings account. Whether it is to put funds aside for my dream trip to Japan, to purchase videogames or figures or even to get more tattoos, it would be nice to have money aside instead of making impulse purchases.

2) Keep getting good grades and try to raise my GPA So far, I have a 3.1 GPA, and I wouldn't mind boosting it up to a 3.3. I have graduate school dreams.

3) Work on my manuscript - I am not implying that I will finish it but at least spend a minimum of 30 minutes a day working on it.

4) Get Good ACThe province of Ontario offers great HVAC rebates, especially on air conditioners as well as many energy-efficient upgrades that can be done in the home. My goal is to look into these and start with good AC for those hot summer months.

An example of the inside of the planner. Motivational quotes are written on the top right hand corner each week.

5) Focus on Self Care- From focusing on my mental health, to soaking in my hot tub, I will strive to make this a priority. This also means eating three healthy meals a day with plenty of daily, light exercise. As a side note, what I failed to mention in my previous post, I have been smoke free for 3 months now. I do not smoke tobacco products (cigarettes, vapes, ect.) or Cannabis though I am open to edibles. I kicked the habit in early October 2023. I went for laser treatments. Essentially laser are used on my pressure points to help curb cravings. I want to continue with making my physical and mental health a goal and priority.

I do have a busy year a head and I am confident it will be a successful one. Here's to kicking ass!
